Nuova Capodimonte (Italy)- Hand-Painted Porcelain Rose Candle Holder
Nuova Capodimonte is a continuation of the prestigious Capodimonte porcelain tradition, which originated in Naples, Italy, in the 18th century under King Charles III. While the original royal factory no longer operates, many Italian artisans have revived and carried on the Capodimonte legacy under the name Nuova Capodimonte.
Renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, Nuova Capodimonte is especially known for delicate floral sculptures, each shaped and painted entirely by hand. The hallmark of this tradition lies in its intricate detailing, naturalistic forms, and the use of a signature glossy glaze.
The sculpture, signed by Savastano family, features a beautifully shaped calla lily in soft pink and white tones, set atop richly glazed green leaves. Every curve and petal has been carefully formed and painted by hand, capturing the elegance and lifelike movement of a real flower.
